In 2005 Theo bought his first guitar and began to learn how to play and write his own songs as well as cover popular music from several different genres. Four years later, in the Fall of 2009 he completed his first demo and decided he was going to dedicate his life to music. His gentle and inviting stage presence combined with his unique voice, that ranges from easy and soulful to strong and dynamic, captivates and warms audiences all over. Theo's passion is to give his true gift of song to you, and his greatest hope is that you only feel closer to yours.
His eclectic blend of covers range from Neil Young classics to 80's hits like Walkin' in Memphis and Kate Bush's Running up that Hill, to recent pop hits such as Rihanna - Umbrella and Usher - You got it Bad. The obscure and unpredictable Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson or Britney Spears' Toxic are always a pleasant surprise and he also covers many classic modern rock tunes by such as Tom Petty, Our Lady Peace, Stone Temple Pilots, Weezer, and everything in between. Tracy Chapman was a staple in his youth and Otis Redding and Bill Withers are other soulful influences. These are just a few of the artists Theo covers.
Ultimately, Theo wants to use music as a catalyst to express his story and sing about what it means to be human, with hopes we can one day live in harmony with life and each other. The soft melodic flavors and intense tones in his songs draw you closer to find comfort in a fresh style of conscious grooves sang by someone seeking to bring happiness and love into the world so we can realize our full potential.
